Marian Bujak (1920-2005) was one of the most outstanding folk fiddlers in the Radom - Kielce region and in whole country as well. As a person endowed with extraordinary talent, memory and musicality, he showed precision, vitality and nobless of his style. Bujak was born in Koryciska village and came from a farming family with musical traditions. It was from his grandfather - Karol Piasta (1865-1945) that Marian, a boy of seven at the time, learned how to play violin, picked up his repertoire and style.

The recordings were made by Remigiusz Mazur-Hanaj in the years 1995-2003 in Warsaw, Szydłowiec and Koryciska with additional participation of:

Jan Bujak (drum)
Henryk Siwak (threerows accordion)
Janina Siwek, Janina Kornacka, Stanisław Kornacki (vocals)
Janusz Prusinowski, Remigiusz Mazur-Hanaj, Piotr Zgorzelski (drum)
